Implant 1.1 mm in diameter with a 15 mm thread, indicated for reduction and fixation of metaphyseal fractures, diaphyseal fractures and dislocations of the bones of the hand and foot and temporary intraoperative fixation and reduction of fragments. Implant steel 1.4441, chemically passive and non-magnetic on the surface.
What characterises this family is not only the long thread, it is that the length stepping is fine: 150, 180, 200, 230 and 250 millimetres. With steps of twenty and thirty, there is almost always a size that fits without leaving surplus shaft outside the skin.
Supplied non-sterile, so the hospital can process it in its own autoclave cycle along with the rest of the instrument set. It is a single-use device: it is not reprocessed once implanted.
