Implant steel 1.4441 wire in a continuous ten-metre coil, indicated for bone cerclage, reduction and fixation of fragments and stabilisation of fracture lines where rigid osteosynthesis alone is not enough. Chemically passive, non-magnetic surface.
The coil format answers the fact that the length of the cerclage is decided by the circumference of the bone, not by the catalogue: the exact length is cut for each case with no material tied up in fixed lengths. The soft temper allows the wire to wrap the bone and twist closed without becoming brittle, and the eleven diameters from 0.2 to 1.5 millimetres range from paediatric cerclage to fixation in adult bone.
Supplied non-sterile, so the centre can process it in its own autoclave cycle. It is a single-use device: it is not reprocessed once implanted.
