Implant 350 mm long and 3.5 mm in diameter with a trocar point and round end, indicated for reduction and fixation of metaphyseal fractures, stable, load-bearing fracture fixation and temporary intraoperative fixation and reduction of fragments. Implant steel 1.4441, chemically passive and non-magnetic on the surface.
Three and a half is the diameter of the standard cortical screw, and thirty-five centimetres the length of an adult long bone. The two together in a single reference describe precisely what it is for: checking and preparing the path of the definitive implant along the whole diaphysis.
