Implant 240 mm long and 2.7 mm in diameter with a trocar point and flat end, indicated for reduction and fixation of metaphyseal fractures, stable, load-bearing fracture fixation and temporary intraoperative fixation and reduction of fragments. Implant steel 1.4441, chemically passive and non-magnetic on the surface.
A reference with no variants always answers the same thing: a fixation system cannulated to exactly 2.7 millimetres with a working length of 240. Rounding to the neighbouring gauge is not an alternative once the technique is decided.
Supplied non-sterile, so the hospital can process it in its own autoclave cycle along with the rest of the instrument set. It is a single-use device: it is not reprocessed once implanted.
