Buy Osteosynthesis Wire 240 mm × 2.7 mm with Double Trocar Point
Implant 240 mm long and 2.7 mm in diameter with a trocar point at both ends, indicated for reduction and fixation of metaphyseal fractures, stable load-bearing fracture fixation and temporary intraoperative fixation and reduction of fragments. Implant steel 1.4441, chemically passive and non-magnetic on the surface.
It is a reference with no variants, and that already says what it is for: some systems are cannulated to exactly 2.7 millimetres and their working length calls for 240. When that is the technique, rounding to 2.5 or 2.8 is not an alternative.
Supplied non-sterile, so the hospital can process it in its own autoclave cycle along with the rest of the instrument set. It is a single-use device: it is not reprocessed once implanted.
