This is the thickest gauge in the line and it is kept for what nothing else solves: large-diameter bone in a large patient, where the safety margin against bending matters more than the bone stock removed on insertion. Fifteen lengths, from 80 to 300 millimetres, under a single reference.
Supplied non-sterile, so the hospital can process it in its own autoclave cycle along with the rest of the instrument set. It is a single-use device: it is not reprocessed once implanted.
