Buy Osteosynthesis Wire 2.8 mm with Trocar Point and Round End
Implant 2.8 mm in diameter with a trocar point and round end, indicated for reduction and fixation of metaphyseal fractures, stable, load-bearing fracture fixation and temporary intraoperative fixation and reduction of fragments. Implant steel 1.4441, chemically passive and non-magnetic on the surface.
At this thickness the trocar point is at its best: three facets spreading the effort over hard cortex. And the round end keeps the wire within what can be removed, something that from here on starts to get harder. Twenty-eight lengths, up to 350 millimetres.
Supplied non-sterile, so the hospital can process it in its own autoclave cycle along with the rest of the instrument set. It is a single-use device: it is not reprocessed once implanted.
